The Tale of Two Brothers

Gazing off the steps of their parents’ North St. Louis home back in 2003 and witnessing Urban decay and dilapidation firsthand, these two Brothers looked at each other in dismay and said, “This is messed up.  We’ve got to do something to be the change versus simply talking about the problem”.  Besides, these guys are from the Show-Me State of Missouri.

With the internal flame burning, they chartered a path for executing upon a 3-Prong Strategy:

• Turning eyesores they once saw into Operating Assets
• Providing a premium, affordable property to low-income families and citizens in a dignified way, never forgetting their roots in the Carr Square Village Housing Projects of St. Louis
• Benefiting economically through this unique social-capital platform

The Young Brothers' Life Story is their work.  Growing up in Public Housing, these two Brothers have maximized on opportunity and now provide premium, affordable housing to families similar to their own in a respectable manner.  The passion and integrity for which they deliver their product is in line with their Ancestry: Their Grandmother was the first African American Female tenant resident to sit on the St. Louis Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and their Aunt revolutionized the Tenant Management Corporation structure providing a legal entity for residents to manage the Public Housing Development in which they lived.  So Socially-Conscious Entrepreneurship is in their bloodline.

Ownership Structure

• Each Property is owned by a Limited Liability Company
• Ownership in the LLC based on pro-rata share of total equity invested for a particular property
• One Touch serves as the managing member of the LLC and manages all day-to-day operations

Investment Structure

• Risk management and flexibility are integral to One Touch’s Investment Platform
• Each property investment has the opportunity to be uniquely structured based on the investors’ interest to participate in equity or debt portions of the investment
